(or use another expression if you prefer)talking about no topic... here is something useful: I talked to a guy from Onslaught last night about Hagara and he was surprised that we use every single person plus our pets during lightning phase when making the X for chaining. He thinks that this would put way too much damage on the raid which might only be very tough to heal. Every time the lightning jumps from one char/pet to another, it creates damage. They way they do it is following: No healers are ever chaining. Every pet class does not use their pet for chaining (make sure to move it far enough away). He thought that they only use 4 characters per side to chain from middle to the outside. Noone is standing in the exact middle - just 4 people (1 each side) close to it. I'm all for reducing raid damage (And people are dying right now during that phase) but I feel that our current strat is more reliable. We sometimes don't chain the lightning with 8-9 people (Counting pets) on each side. How poorly are we going to do when we half that amount? Pet classes stand at the end so that way if anyone's getting raped, it's just them. Yeah, we shit on the pet classes for that fight. Healers actually chain from the middle. It's all one bit of burst damage. We don't take much damage unless someone fucks up their chain. (Middle healer mainly.) First post with updated signature! Whoo! Berms Posted March 23, 2012 Share Posted March 23, 2012 Before you click the orb, make people stand in their assigned spots. Assign something like this: Group 2 (All melee) - Conductor closest to entrance Group 3-5 (All ranged) - Rest of the conductors. (Healers in the positions closest to the orb.) Group 1 (Rest) - Stay the hell out of the way. These are the backups in case someone dies before the next lightning phase.
