  3.

What are you guys talking about. I've never messed with the user.cfg. Is there something that I missed? Or is it just adjusting settings to give you a performance boost on a lower-end machine??

The settings contained within the user.cfg are basically advanced graphics and system settings. You can disable motion blur, certain types of haze, meaningless graphics effects, enable BF4 to use additional cores, enable FPS metering, enable network monitoring, etc. Changing a lot of these settings can dramatically enhance the performance of the game on *ANY* system, not just lower end machines. The goal here is to get the highest FPS possible, many of us have GSync monitors that run ideally at 144Hz, something fairly difficult to obtain unless you are on the highest end of hardware or running low graphics settings.

    I run monitor @ 144Hz

you get a change upload your setting and I will compare it with my setting.

    much Appreciated

  6. Hello all,

Glad to see my friends. For everyone who doesn't know me I am KentuckyGhost I game lots rounds and hung out in TS with uRck.  Sorry to hear about what happen and I am looking forward gaming on ATR servers. I just like to say I love the site and enjoyed gaming the other night and hanging out in TS.

Hello to all my friends and to my new friends and looking forward to having fun and many more battles on the battlefield.

Hello from KentuckyGhost and KentuckyGhost Jr.

  7. Hey KentuckyGhost, CoyoteKilla here. I believe we've played together on a uRock Gamers server. uRock is shutting down, so I've moved over here.

As a kid, I used to kill Coyotes (and Prairie Dogs) for ranchers in Texas. Hence, my game name "CoyoteKilla." My grandfather who hunted with me called me DeadEye for my sniping abilities. I used to play under the name "Deadeye", but I let my account lapse and had to create a new name. I also played Battlefield as "Topgun-D" since I was a pretty good pilot back then. I used to compete in chopper tournaments and was in the top 5 for a while. Never made it to #1 since I refused to hack. Ha!

I, too, am 51 years old and work in the IT field. My kids are grown, however. My son is 23, my daughter is 21. I started gaming many years ago, like you, playing all of the Battlefield games since the first one. I've played many games, but primarily Battlefield and Call of Duty series. A Minecraft here and there and some MMORPG like 2Moons and Dakaron.

I look forward to playing BF4 with you.

    Best,

CoyoteKilla (some people call me Coyote, others call me Killa... either works).

    Thanks CoyoteKilla for the reply,

Not sure if I have added you to my Battlelog as a friend (so many lol) if not please send me a request and I will ensure to add you. I havn't had much time to game lately, my work has been keeping me pretty busy, but hopefully when I do hav time to game we can squad run on Metro or lockers TDM or Conquest.

    addictionally,

@ randomfail thanks for your welcome, much appreciated.

cya you all on the Battlefield
