They're also going to rolling those changes into SoO come 6.0 (WoD pre-patch). So it's slightly sooner than WoD (2-4 weeks maybe).

I don't plan on picking up HotS for a while, I have PAXEast next week, then bioshock infinite, need to beat Ni no Kuni at somepoint, way too much stuff to play.

FRAPS always caused input lag for me (and capped my fps), so I went the expensive, overly complicated route.

I have my two monitors over DVI and an active display port to HDMI adapter (the HDMI is just duplicating my primary display).

I use Virtual Audio Cable to do live audio muxing, windows default playback device is a virtual cable, that is then repeated out my speakers, and muxed with my microphone and repeated out the HDMI on my video card.

then my 2nd computer has a HD Live Gamer capture card which is connected to my desktop over HDMI. Then Xsplit captures that device, and I stream and record locally at the same time. I record at a ridiculous bit rate, trying to get it near loss-less.

My only issue with my setup is that the CPU I got in my stream box (A8-5600k) is a little under powered to do 1080p60 x264 encoding at the highest quality, which is why everything is 720p right now. When I got that capture card, I didn't realize I could either use it to Capture OR Encode, not both.

I like Xsplit, there's just a lot of CPU overhead unfortunately, which is why I can stream and play on the same computer.

Hey guys, I'm going to be in Iowa for work next week.

If I get out of the factory early enough tues., I might be able to make it, but no guarantees. Defiantly not on wed. though, that's when I'll be flying back.

I use a second computer to stream and record (HDMI capture card), I updated Xsplit recently that added a "split files" feature. Apparently when my stream box starts processing too many files at once, I lose audio and it just generally fucks up. So I just have to stop and start recording again every so often, manually. The stuff from last nights 25m was fine too, so it has to be the file spliting. It is a fairly slow HDD in my stream box too, at some point I will setup raid 0 or 5, just need to get more hard drives.

sorry for the skipping, I was trying to split my video files while recording them, it doesn't seem to work as well. (I also lose audio eventually because of it).

My first college final was Calc1 at 8am, I showed up at 9am, and I still finished before others in my class.

Mid terms, but they don't want to lose class time? the accounting tests at my university were like that, always friday, starting at 5 or 6, and expected to take 3-4 hours. Luckly, I wasn't that major.

Took me longer to finish this than I thought it would, the 4 Heroic MSV kills I have should go faster now that I've learned to use my video editor.
