2 things, I didn't schedule anything on wednesdays. Im impressed this circle jerk is still going, it's been made very clear that this is how things operate, i fought it for months and months, i have the title to prove it. People are happy with smashing their face on a boss with their friends, and have no interest in replacing people that cannot to mechanics. its really that simple, it's nobody's fault, its not a bad thing. Just a fact.

So i should have made this post 2 weeks ago instead of just putting something in the shoutbox, so i apologize for that.

Over the last month or so my job situation has been really bad due to my own stupidity so iv been really stressed out and I haven't had the patience that id normally have to be in raid.

I am also looking to buy a house and the nice houses in my area are selling days after they go on the market lately so when on comes up i potentially want to look at i need to book an appointment asap. Which means it could run into raid times and i don't want to be like alot of people we had during siege whose attendance was bad at best and still expected a raid spot.

That being said ill make as many as i can to coin roll and hopefully roll minor upgrade on gear, i have asked gump to friends and family me until I'm in a position to raid full time again.

It has gear for our entire raid, including you, its a quick easy way to learn the fights and get some uprgades

Very Few of our Raiders are above 670, which means 665gear is an upgrade for them.

plus tier sets will out weight 5 item levels

my votes normal for 1-2 weeks for stratagy/ tier. beat heroic, then do the real raid. mythic

the cat pits are open on normal, they are only closed on lfr

normal and heroic Highmaul are identical for mechanics

Normal mode 100% matters, just not in highmaul now that we can clear 6/7 with almost no effort. I completely agree with you here. do normal mode, maybe not full clear, like in highmaul there may be better options. but learning the fights the first week and getting tier tokens for everybody i feel would definitely be the best bet.

I think you should add an option for use "Normal mode to learn Blackrock Foundry."

Yeah because that was a poor decision, wiping a raid is not the way to make people laugh

There was nothing wrong with our raid atmosphere in SoO, thats the confusing part, your first comment also said nothing about atmosphere and was basicly telling people that want to progress to find another guild

I agree with Mort 100%.  What you are missing though, mort, is that Bash advertised and built a raid team more focused on Progression than a fun raid atmosphere.  He wanted to take the guild into a more hardcore direction.  Some of those raiders recruited during that period now feel cheated as we go back towards our roots.  Other raiders who have been here longer think that we aren't back towards our roots and casual enough and are upset.  Both groups have reason to be upset, but only one group is going to be happier in the future for sure, and that's the more casual group.  We are up front about what we want to be and we encourage people to leave and raid somewhere else if the environment suits them.  Look at what happened with Red for example.

 

So your saying you don't intend to progress like we did in SoO this expansion, and that raid team isnt going to happen again?

 

 

Whatever you say, but when people keep on failing mechanics and don't get sat because "if we do it with less than 20 people then why have a mythic team", people like me are going to get mad.

 

And this right here is why we have a shitty raid atmosphere.

 

Yeah it is, because people get frustrated when people don't get sat for failing mechanics or doing low dps which results in a wipe. There are not enough fun people in the guild to make a wipe more enjoyable than a kill. Then, they take that frustration out before, during and after raid.

 

If that was about my comment, i didn't say why have a mythic team i said they need to be replaced.

we don't need to trim people, they need  to do the fight correctly. if we trimmed the raid below 20 people for heroic imp, id hope anybody that didnt get the kill gets replaced and isnt invited to mythic.

Even without Ahead of the Curve, we, as a guild, should kill H Imperator before we go into any more Mythic. It's still progression. Half the raiders don't even have an Imperator kill in general. Saying "show up on an optional night if you want to kill the last boss in the current raid tier even though you only signed up to do Tue/Wed" or "go pug it" is ridiculous. It's too late to do Normal Imperator because no one (important) cared after the optional group got him down, and that's what's going to happen to Heroic Imperator if (and when) the optional group gets him down. He'll be put on the back burner because "progression". Hell, he's -already- on the back burner. Are we really going to go clear heroic Highmaul and kill him when we're in heroic Foundry? Like really really? No, we're not, for the same reasons we're not doing normal now. And the non-optional raiders get the short end of the stick.

Definitly agree with you on this one, no chance we are going to go back into hihmaul on tuesday/wednesday once blackrock is out.

With Blackrock Foundry coming out Feb 3rd the tiny amount of extra gear from mythic Highmaul is basically irrelevant. 

I feel like we should get the ahead of the curve achievement before its gone forever.

So with AoTC not being removed im left wondering who voted for it out of fear of not getting it and if these numbers are scewed.

Can i bid minor upgrade on an item that is an upgrade but does not have the stats i want, and would prefer another item but dont want to see it get sharded?
