As a bunch of people are mentioning, things have gone pretty well in the last couple of expansions. We have learned a lot since we launched the game 6 years ago. There have been some latency issues in the past, but that is often tied to how many people are in your direct vicinity and it improves as players progress and spread out. We have improved spawning timing and such so even if a lot of players are doing the same quests they can be done in a reasonable amount of time. Things can always go wrong, but it should be playable.
