Rock, Paper, Scissors

Participant Setup:

• Players: Open to individual competitors.

Game Structure:

• The tournament is played in knockout or round-robin style, depending on the number of participants.
   

Basic Rules:

• Players simultaneously form one of three shapes with an outstretched hand:
  • Rock (a fist)
  • Paper (an open hand)
  • Scissors (a fist with the index and middle fingers extended, forming a V)
• Outcomes:
  • Rock crushes Scissors (Rock wins)
  • Scissors cuts Paper (Scissors wins)
  • Paper covers Rock (Paper wins)
• If both players choose the same shape, the game is tied and is typically replayed to break the tie.

Match Play:

• Players faceoff, play a best of three, wait for all other competitors to finish and then organize on the line to faceoff again.
• A death match may be used in the final round if the resulting player counter is odd.
• Last player standing wins.
