Extremely interesting. Def high CPU requirements. I'm assuming / hoping this has something to do with the destructibility of some of the maps.

Battlefield 2142 is available for free to play. Same as the release for Battlefield 2. I'll be playing sometime here, figured it would be of interest for some of the rest of you as well. Some great game modes in here if you've never played. Lots of fun!

That would obviously destroy the community giving server control to the people who pay for them. I mean, just look at battlefront, that worked out great for us right. Right?

Did you install the beta for Origin? If you did, uninstall and reinstall the standard release. Same thing happened to me in WIN10. Couldn't get BF to load at all. Hopefully that works Buddy

I'm keeping my order. As said before I had enough fun to keep it. Also I feel we def want to have some server's to begin with. 2-4 for me.

I'm hoping they change these rules though. There's just no need and it's wrong for the people who actually pay for a service not to have the tools to properly control that service. You can't moderate at all. It's WRONG I tell you, ITS WRONG!

Here's to hoping they take some more of the casual out of the game though. Random bullet spread.. common! I can't believe it but I'm thinking Titanfall may be more competitive than BF as it stands. Def too close to SWBF than what I was hoping for.

Is there any point to our own servers if the worst turns out to be true? Of course it's a wait and see approach, but still, takes the whole point out of actually having servers is my gut feeling.

This is a mistake. Too bad. My guess we'll have our BF4 servers around for a lot longer.

Why the hell is EA / Dice not keeping to what made one of their most successful games, and just keep following along those lines? Give the community it's control! There's a reason BF4 still has the player base it does after all this time.

Was just going to ask that. Why have it in the first place? And for SP really doesn't make sense as an answer to me. How simple is SP to begin with that makes you want to go get an aimbot?

I'm fine with either. Seems back to TS for now but come BF1 launch we might want to give Discord a go again to see if it gets popped by more casuals from our servers. The fact that was said earlier, that it can be browser based really has the chance to bring in new people.

I won't be back on till later tonight but you'll def see me on eventually.

I've used it while playing with a group in Overwatch. Seemed to work really good once I got it going. Cool GUI as well. 

I've seen a few people ask about this too. Will give it a go tonight with BF1 if anyone else is on.

Pretty sure he was just talking about getting a group of us to jump into an empty server. It's not a bad free game.
