  1. For Halion, I believe Tankspot has a written guide under their movie guide in their movie guides page. I didn't acknowledge Informant or Berms in my post, I apologize. As far as experience in the hardmodes, we have guildies who have seen 11/12 hardmodes. As far as merging groups, I would be cautious with that but if both groups are hurting for people to a great extent, I wouldn't mind.

  2. Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen,

I haven't written one of these in a while so I thought I would stop being lazy and do one. It has been an eventful couple weeks and a completely uneventful last 24 hours.

As far as our 25M progression, Blizzard screwed us 2 weeks in a row by not bringing up servers till 10PM last Tuesday and not at all this Tuesday. However, we remained undaunted. Last week, we began on Wednesday and tried hard to make up some time. Despite having one day less to raid, we still decided to try a couple hard modes. We spent some time on Marrowgar and after a few wipes, we finally got him down. This made me happy for a few reasons. First, we have a chance at some hard mode loot off another boss besides Lootship. Second, it moved us from ranked 29th on the server to rank 24. We would be lower, but a couple guilds like Tempest and Enrage broke off from well ranked guilds and were automatically placed ahead of us. Lastly, the Marrowgar fight on heroic stresses one type of raid mechanic above all else, movement. People have to move away from ice sheets, bone storms, and towards spiked comrades. Accomplishing this under pressure has made me more confident when we tackle the Lich King next and have to deal with defiles.

As far as ten man goes, we have seen a positive resurgence in interest, effort, and coordination. People from group 2 have slowly began forming some ten man runs which have gotten farther than they usually do in previous half alts/pug groups. The group 2 ten mans have been hampered by Blizzard not allowing them to raid on 2 Tuesdays in a row but they will make up for it sometime later this week. Varibash has began a ten man group of his own and is progressing. He went to a pug and got Kingslayer 10-Man this week, so now his squad can try some hard mode bosses on their way to their own Lich King kill. The Proxy guys have also reformed and have been getting to Lich King for the last 2 weeks. Vinji, Occorak, Chartul, have all come back. Lueki has joined our guild and together with Gump, that group is really strong and I am sure that they will progress. Team Oh man finally saw the downing of H-Princes and H-Dreamwalker. This makes our guild 9/12 heroic with our eyes on Sindragosa and Putricide. For all those people in either 25M who want a 10M group, please put something on the forums and we will get you into a group. I know many of you could still use some loot and extra badges, so please don't hesitate to ask. At the moment, Friday, Sunday, and Monday have no 25M raids scheduled, so if you would like to help organize a ten man, step up to the plate.

In the last couple weeks, we have seen group 2 come into their own a little bit in 25 Man. Many of our new recruits have been stepping up and helping the group progress during a period where we had a good number of people in that group on vacation. We have basically come to the conclusion that Lyshani and Ambika have proven to be really good from our guild however, the other good healers we have in group 2 come from the Veritas et Aequitas guild (Kateness and Annaleii). That makes 4 good healers who are consistent. We need to either get some more people to step up or recruit some more who will. If you think you are a good healer and can consistently show up for this run, please inform Greatbadguy, Mastric, or Geedub. Go to them, don't wait till they come to you.

This week, Ruby Sanctum comes out and I think it would be worth our time to try and down it in 25M. Please don't save yourself to 25M Halion, we will probably attempt it tonight. I want to do so because it will satiate everyones lust to down new content, it has good loot/badges, it will break the monotony of 25M ICC a little, and it is supposed to be easy. As far as ten man, we can make a few ten man groups throughout the week and go down it, not a big deal.

Now, July 4th is this Sunday, however people will probably start celebrating early. Which translates into a relaxed raid attendance this week in all groups. On top of this, we lost Tuesday as a raid day. With all things considered, in 25M Group 1, I suggest we go into Ruby Sanctum today and down it. After which, or even tomorrow we can take whoever we can into 25M ICC and get as far as we can not stressing about the Lich King too much. As far as group 2, I believe they plan to get in their Wednesday raid day and will try to gather as many people as they can for Saturday. However, Saturday being in the middle of the July 4th weekend will probably yield the lowest attendance out of all our groups. However, you never know, they will play it by ear.

All in all, I am writing this at work and by the time, I log into WOW this evening, it will be more than 36 hours since they released new content and I couldn't log on. Therefore, I am excited to log on later today and prepared for a fresh but relaxing new raid week. I hope everyone that is going on vacation this week/weekend has a great time!

Well, that is all for this week. Before I finish, I would like to leave you all with the Prydain quote that was in one of my recently added Gallery images. Prydain: "I like to watch Girls Gone Wild Videos backwards so it looks like the girls learned their lesson."

  3. Back by popular demand! Well, actually "popular" is a stretch of the word, but hey, I like to think I brighten the day of a few people here and there, haha.

These last couple weeks have been very eventful and I am pleased to report that we are on track to making ourselves out of guild obscurity and make a decent name for ourselves. First off, I would like to address the efforts of our officers and technical staff (Unholy, Mastric, and Prydan). As you can see, we are using a new theme for our website along with many new fun things to explore throughout. The DKP tab is now a drop down under the RAID tab. Also in a drop down is a "members map" under the members tab. Here members can add your location and see where everyone else lives. Please don't visit me unannounced, you might get mauled by my attack Yacoub and he is always grumpy. Just the other day, I was on there and I discovered I lived relatively close to Cyianna :D Another feature to the website is pacman under the "click me" button. This is thanks to Prydain and his antics. We have always had a chat feature in addition to the shoutbox, but now we have expanded it to support many users at the same time in case the shoutbox traffic becomes heavy at any given time. Lastly, after long last, we have started to update the raid teams tab which is now under the "RAID" tab. We had been holding off for a long time on editing it, but with group 2 getting more solid every day, we got started on updating the tab.

Speaking of group 2, the last raid weeks were a little lackluster however they taught us some very valuable things. We discovered that in addition to Mastric and Geedub leading it, Greatbadguy has stepped up to help add his leadership to the team. We commend him and are sure he will help out a lot. The run itself had a few snags this week, one being the attitude of the Veritas GM Roflstomper and his GF, both of whom were in group 2. Roflstomper brought up the point that no one should have a DKP advantage, and although we agreed to this and told him that people like Geedub (has over 900 DKP) would start over on his druid, he still hated the system. He is under the impression that DKP breeds selfishness despite the fact that throughout the group 2 runs, Geedub has passed on multiple pieces to him and only bid and won 1 piece over him. We discussed this forever with him, but could not reach any agreement, so he will most probably not run with us anymore, oh well everyone is entitled to their opinion of fairness. Anyway, after revamping the DKP system in group 2 to be more fair, we also fixed how bids were done. There were some concerns about people seeing each others bids, but we decided on a silent whisper bid system to Mastric like we do in group 1. If Mastric desires to bid on a piece, everyone will whisper bids to Geedub, Greatbadguy is also there as a default 3rd option.

Just to make a quick summation of our theory behind the group 2 DKP system. We think that if we use DKP, people will be more apt to show up knowing that they have a consistent run going and that they will earn for time spent. More consistency = more downing = more loot. Also, more players = weeding out low geared/bad people from the ranks = consistency......=progression. Roflstomper brought up the point that what would happen if you are new and have no little DKP to start and that is a disadvantage. If you are new, it means we were forced to bring you in as a pug. By the time you get into the raid, the raid itself would have progressed enough with consistent (there is that word again) players to make the new guy basically be thrown some loot that no one needs. Therefore, if you are new, it isn't really a problem. Speaking of new people, the efforts of all the officers, as well as a certain hedgehog lover (Cyianna) have yielded some really positive recruiting results for us. Thebled (fury warrior), Psychosi (rogue), Armagetan (enhance shaman), Myntir (shadow preist), Ambika (Resto Shaman), TheBigl (ret pally), Gorondel (warlock), Mordechai/Vulkan (mage/warlock), are just some of the new faces, who have joined our ranks recently. Along with them, we have had a couple people come back into action to join up again. Bloodyredrum has brought his hunter over. RIzel has come back to tank or hunter it up for us. Huntinseason has come back also. Not to mention Avengedd who has showed up to a couple raids now. Since my last post, we have ramped up recruitment and have gotten a lot of great players! This makes me think of a pug I did with Onslaught yesterday on my priest. They were such assholes to all the pugs in there. From what I have heard, many other guilds are treating people horribly and that is what is making good raiders leave. It goes to show, people will work hard if they feel wanted and respected.

Also this week, after long last, Yacoub finally got the Pirates to run him through 25M Sindragosa quest and a LK downing. For the last few weeks, he had been asking Censored but they seem to have the same members not showing up issue that many guilds are facing. Because of Yacoub, we can now work on some hard modes next week and Yacoub can start getting shadowfrost shards towards his Shadowmourne! Speaking of the coming week, I have a challenge for everyone. Let's try and down every farm boss in that stupid place in 1 night so we can have multiple days on LK! Last week, we did it in 2 days, but I believe we can do it in 1.

Lastly, I am debating making a small video blog maybe weekly or bi-weekly of random guild news to be put on the website. I have gotten mixed reviews about the idea. Many like the idea but others mainly read my updates at work or at school where they cannot watch videos, lol. Oh well, I can always do both, a video blog for fun every once in a while and keep doing these written updates as well, lol. Tell me your thoughts about it in game or in a shout.

Well, that's all for now, good evening fellas.

  4. I thought that since I have been doing these for a couple of weeks now, I would just give it a name and stick with it. I chose "Rebel's Logic" obviously so you would be able to know they were from me (because so many other people write long winded summaries of raid weeks, great thinking Rebel, you moron).

Anyway, good afternoon children! Time for a recap of an eventful couple raid weeks. First off, we came up with a plan to have 2 simultaneous 25M raids going and it has gotten off to a decent start. Keeping in mind that the weekend during this raid week had Memorial day in it, caused some people to be missing but we still soldiered on. From the implementation of the new raid, we began recruiting some new members to fill the ranks because we still had to pug a few people for the seconds run. So far, we have gotten a ret pally named Thebigl, a holy preist named Cyianna, a demo lock named Grondel, and last but not least Avengedd is back. Having these people and eventually adding more have proven to strengthen our entire guild as a whole. For example, this week Boredman had finals on the Tuesday/Wednesday so we grabbed Cyianna to help heal. Solidifying a symbiotic relationship between the two raids is essential for our continued success. In both runs we are cultivating progression oriented players who shouldn't care what run they are on because both will go far with a little hard work. In this way, it puts less pressure for raid leaders to fill raids if people are missing as well as put less pressure on individual raiders who have an off-schedule week and can't make it to their usual run. All in all, it was the implementation of this second raid that ultimately led to the downing of Sindragosa 25M this week! Last 2 weeks, we lost a combined 4 raid days because some people couldn't show up for progression on Sindragosa. However, this week, I owe the fact that we had the people to fill in that caused us to for the first time have 3 successful raids in a row. It will only get better from here on out with Prydain and I working together with the other officers to recruit some more key players to fill our ranks.

Speaking of the second run. We have began a new relationship with a guild named Veritas et Aequitas which is the guild that Kateness and Starke are in. I and many other guildies have know Kateness and Starke for a long time and have enjoyed the opportunity to raid with them again as well as give them an opportunity to help us get our second run going. Around 6-8 different members of their guild have come to our second run and we are glad to have them. While we recruit more members to fill the second raid's ranks, it is nice to form a relationship with a good core of solid players outside of the guild who we can rely on to help.

This week, I sat out on Deathwhisper to let Laristira get a shot at her bow since no one needs it at all. It dropped and was a huge upgrade for her. In the future, on a farm boss if someone is willing to frosake their ID for a possible single big upgrade, I would be glad to sit for them. This is part of the symbiotic relationship idea because Laristira can now help out Geedub in the second run without having to compete for the bow.

This week marks the second week that Melodian has promissed to create me an upload of some good authentic island music and has not delivered yet. He is a music producer and I am dying to have some new jams to blast in my car. If anyone sees him online give him a hard time about it, lol.

From now on guys, we are making it a formality that whenever you find someone that wants to join the guild, they have to fill out an app on the forums. It takes like 5 minutes and makes it easier for us to refer to when wondering who all the new people are. In the past, even if he was a random friend of someone, we let him in, we just want to make the process a little more formal, that's all.

So guys, after long last, we are finally on Lich King 25M. Yesterday, we got some of the basics of phase 1 down and got into phase 2 a little sloppily. However, in the short time we spent on the fight (4 or so attempts), it appeared that we were improving. Please guys, come on time for raids next week and study the fight so we can have the maximum number of progressing attempts on him. If we have 3 solid raid days every week, we will down Lich King sooner than everyone thinks. As I happen to have a beer in my hand (office party), I will drink to that.

Until next time kids, GI Joe says "Knowing is half the battle."

  5. Listen my children and you shall hear about the midnight ride of Yacoub on one of his ridiculous number of mounts...

I figured it was time for another fun guild progression update. For those of you who are wondering, the name of this post comes from a 10M run of ICC I was in with Popo. During the long tedious speech by the two Saurfang's, Popo said, "I don't know much about the lore, but are these two related." Maybe it was just because Popo said it, but it had us all rolling. Speaking of funny quotes by guildies, we have our now famous "Wow-Isms" thread running which currently holds the reins as the most successful forum so far. Check it out, laugh, and share some funny wow memories of your own.

This week saw us try some new things and break a couple records for ourselves. This was the first week where we attempted to do a 3 day raid week for the main run (Tuesday-Thursday). Tuesday was really successful, but for both Wednesday and Thursday we were missing only 3 people or so. This however hasn't discouraged our officers and plan to keep this schedule because despite the bad luck that happened to the few missing on those days, we still broke our record on Sindragosa, getting her down to under 23%. This was the first week trying something new, snags in the plan are bound to happen, the key is we have the resolve to push through no matter what happens. Speaking of resolve, on Tuesday for the first time, we downed 10 bosses in 1 raid day! If we can continue with this trend, we will have a lot of time for progression bosses.

The Saturday run this week got to Dreamwalker again this week despite all the alts we had in the run. Next week, we will begin the new schedule for this run which will contain all mains and run on both Wednesday and Saturday. I cannot wait for this run to find it's own identity and take off. This run will be led by Geedub and will begin earning DKP for its members. DKP will probably be earned the first week but will be used as the looting system during the second week of this runs implementation. The first week will be all rolls just so that people will get a little while to earn their DKP and have adequate numbers to use the following week. Basically, give the new DKP system a chance to remove variables, and then implement it.

Following the first Lich King 10M kill last Sunday, this week saw the first attempts Team "OH MAN" had on 10M hard modes. We had a few snags on a couple fights but most of the first few aren't too bad. As of yesterday, we downed 7 bosses (First four + fester/rot, and Blood Queen). We attempted Putricide and Blood Princes, but after several wipes, we went to Blood queen thinking it was going to be easier, which it was. Our team has a plan for hard modes to maximize progression. We will only do hardmodes we need loot off of (i.e. tier bosses) and will do al other hardmodes just once to get the achievements for them. Eventually, we will be doing only Lich King on hard mode until we down it, but in the meantime, we should be able to bring a few people to our run to get some tier/hardmode loot off the earlier/easier bosses.

Next week, for our main 25M run, Yacoub will be running with Censored so that he can get the Sindragosa quest and the Lich King downing in order to open up hardmodes for us in 25M the following week. He saved up a lot of gold to do this and judging by the 10M hardmodes we have done so far, we should quickly get the hang of the 25M versions for some bosses.

Next week is the beginning of the 20% buff in ICC. This buff should help us destroy the bosses we have on farm now even faster and should help us down Sindragosa and beyond.

Due to Unholy and Mastric's efforts, we have implemented 2 new things to our website. The first is a videos page which contains frapsed fights as well as random acts of stupidity. Check em out, the Ghost one is hilarious. The second thing was a donate button which allows all members to donate money to the upkeep of the site as well as helping to pay for keeping our vent server up. This is not mandatory, but it is very much apprecitated.

Lastly, in an effort to prevent long waiting periods for raids to fill we have implemented a phone number field for every member's profile. Please put your number in there (only officers can see the numbers). so that we can get in contact with you in case you are late without notifying us. This will cut down on us saving a spot for someone who is not coming but unable to contact and tell us so. Don't worry, we won't spam you with suggestive phone calls, hopefully I can force the other officers to hold to this ideal at least, lol.

Well, that's it for now fellas, until next time...

  6. Berms, the number adds up to 26 and implies that one of the people we would drop is 1 of the healers, since Rizel exists as a healer anyway for later fights. I listed 6 to show that we have a backup in case someone cannot make it.

    3+6+17 = 26, not 27.

That is for pointing out my typo in the other post.

Also, see Watchmen, the movie is amazing, I didn't ruin anything.

  7. I AM WRITING IN CAPS TO BE DRAMATIC!

I just created this post because I wanted to let everyone know where my head was at with the 25M roster. We are currently plagued with the same problem we have had for a long time now, and that has been bringing too many people who can only make one raid day and not the second. Therefore, we are going to have to crackdown on the roster if we want to progress.

As of late, we have instituted 2 new concepts to our raiding. For one, we started a 25M ICC second run which goes on Saturday night. This run over the couple of weeks that we have ran it has been getting better and better roster-wise and we have had to bring less and less pugs into it. From these runs, we have made freinds with a good couple of guilds who have been impressed with us. So it has not only helped our raiders who cannot make some raid days, but it has also gotten our name out there. As a result, out second concept comes into play, the idea of the sister-guild mentality between players. All That Rem, Voodoo Tuna, Zero, Proxy, Kong Fu Pandas all are comprised of good players that are going through the same thing: every once in a while, we need to grab a player or two to fill our raid. Gone are the days of totally acquiring a guild through corporate take-over and splitting up freinds. This is like a partnership between guilds all wanting each other to progress. Keep in mind however, the priority among these guilds will always be our own and we won't take outside raid members into our raids unless someone is decidedly absent among our own guildies. It is with this new found set of partnerships that I present to you what I forsee for our 25M roster broken down by type of class:

Plate Melee: Yacoub, Rebelogic, Finallegend, Teapee

Other Melee: Bloodbolt, Itachi, Overcast, Honeymoomoo

    Non-Caster Ranged: Darkhuntar, FDragon

Casters: Wilistari, Perenelle, Loggs, Unholyfaith, Melodian

    Tanks: Prydain, Rizel

    Healers: Kieta, Polished, Virage, Ruffpally

As you can see, the number of people I mentioned above is not 25. So here is my breakdown of people who I would like to see fill those spots.

Tanks: Lastcow and Joycow recently told me that they have a class on Wednesday and I already talked to them about the whole making two days thing, so they have been gracious enough to basically run our Saturday run with their mains along with Geedub. Lastcow is a great tank and we will miss him in our main 25M. To replace the 3rd tank position, I nominate Darachai from Proxy. He is a good warrior tank and has come with us twice now in our runs.

Healers: Above, I only listed 4 healers who are consistent, but it is always good to list up to 6 just in case. Joycow as I said is going to help run our second run. For healers 5 and 6, I would suggest Pemmican (resto druid) from Proxy and Unuyazi (resto sham) from Proxy. Both of them have come to our 25M runs and have proven that they would be good assets to us.

DPS: As you can see, I have only listed 15 DPS above, this is because I didn't want it to see like I was totally forgetting certain players. I am keeping in mind that Berms and Kwicked are going to be able to make both raid days soon, so that will be a very needed security for our raids. In the meantime, some other DPS have come in and stepped up for us. Dambala (mage) from Proxy did pretty good in our 25M and they have some other good DPS over there also. Not to mention, the pandas have some good DPS that they could offer us if we are missing a person or two. All in all, I don't want the DPS positions written completeley in stone yet, this also goes to the other classes.

As I said in my news post, our ten mans have been a littly shaky group-wise. As we get out 25M straightened up, we will be more sure of the talent available to make solid tens. We have more than enough for tens, the challenge is as always to find a good class balance. The days for tens at the moment still have not changed for most groups, they are still basically Thursday and Sunday.

Lastly, with the second ICC 25M run, with the infusion of talent from the people who can't make both days, and from the other guilds, we can make it a really successful pug-free environment for progression. In the future, I plan to make it Friday and Saturday so it even gets a progression day. The more successful it is, the less pressure people will feel to fight tooth and nail to be in the Tuesday run. So please, if you have geared alts/freinds, please come to the Saturday run.

Alright fellas, I am out for now, I await your responses.

ps. As a funny sidenote, Censored offered to acquire our guild cause they liked what they saw and wanted to bolster their ranks. When I heard this, I was like, thanks for the compliment, but uhhh......no!

  8. Hey guys,

I got up early to go running today so I thought for fun I would put up another "What's happening" post for everyone. Since my last post we have had a lot of things happen. For one, Prydain has become an officer and has gone mad with power, jk he has been doing good. However, he is still not going to get shadow's edge before Aaylah, we all talked about it and think she deserves it over his off-spec.

    New members:

Ramnor randomly decided to stop playing, but he gave his account to Clidefrog, who I guess has two locks now, go figure. So, if you see Ramnor online, that is Clide playing his toon. I know you are thinking it and yes, Yacoub and I have gained great satisfaction in kicking, re-inviting, and re-kicking Ramnor several times since Clide has taken control. We can honestly say in Ramnor's case, "I've done this before guys." Since we needed an enhance shaman, we recruited Bloodbolt from Voodoo Tuna. He is a little rough around the edges at the moment and is big into pvp but with the help of Olathir and Glitter, he has the potential to really be a good addition to our roster. As for healers, Virage has stepped in as our new disc/holy preist very nicely. At first we were worried that his gear might need some help before he came into our core run, but he has proved once again that it is gear score, not skill score. Also for healers, Joycow has proven that Boredman was not even close to as great as he thought he was in his mind, lol. She has proven to be a great resto shammy and a pleasant voice in vent since Perenelle never talks at all, hint hint. Then again, Prydain has that sexy Latin flavor in his voice we all love. Speaking of tanks, Lastcow has stepped up greatly and has proven to be a good compliment to our tanking team. All in all, the departure of DK, Sammee, Boredman, Beubonik, and Bagbalm, has turned into an almost seemless transition for us. To continue with this trend, we are always on the lookout for good people/raiders. As a last note, we got the legend back (Finallegend), but let's face it, he never really left.

Glitter's account got hacked this week, and one of the reasons we were able to secure his account was because we had his contact information. If it isn't too much trouble, for raid scheduling/cancelations, etc. If you guys could fill out your profile pages, that would be great. On a side note, Glitter's son got something else stuck this week, apparently a corn kernel in his ear.

This is Spring break week, and right in the middle of Spring break week, we have St. Patrick's Day. It doesn't bode too well for raids because people are either partying or sick for some reason (Mel, I hope you get better). Which brings me to my next point. If you are gonna miss a raid, just send an in game mail or otherwise contact me or another officer.

The guild bank was going through some rough times for a while in terms of money/flasks/mats, but progression, dedicated guildy money infusion, and other donations has righted the ship really well. To also help get us to this point, Yacoub spearheaded the efforts to run old raids for money, an effort that has generated over 10K over the weeks. Whenever we do old raids, you earn DKP so if you want us to continue, we can. Everyone asks Yacoub which raid he is running whenever he posts it on the calender, he never puts a specific raid because it depends on how many people he has coming which dictates the raid. So in terms of earning DKP in other ways, you can donate flasks/frost lotus's to Unholyfaith or run old raids with Yacoub. If you have any other suggestions, please tell us.

Someone needs to level a druid named "Cheesesteak". On a sidenote, I live for seemless transitions.

    Progression:

Well, the other week, we got festergut down and Yacoub is weilding our first shadow's edge, grats to him! This week, we downed him again and I got my shadow's edge. Two weeks in a row can make us say with confidence that we got those bastards on farm now. I believe, Teapee is ready to get his shadow's edge on Tuesday and Final will get his the following week. Then we can work our way through the ranks for off-specs to give out the quest items; Aaylah clearly deserves it over Prydain though, lol. The other day, with a non-complete group, we figured out the general mechanics of the 25M Princes encounter and I don;t think it will be too hard for us to down. As the progression of most guilds have gone, they went to Council after rotface & festergut, and worked on Putricide and Dreamwalker at the same time. This would be a good strategy of progression for us. The ten mans have been a little shaky group-wise in the last couple weeks but despite that, we had 3 groups down Putricide in one day, as well as one group down dreamwalker in one day. So now, I am confident that most of our core have downed Putricide/council/dreamwalker.

Well, that's it for now. I will be posting more stuff on here more often so keep a look out. Also, I have an important 25M roster post coming in the raiding forums.

Peace guys, oh and Geedub.....Prydain misses you.

  9. Alright guys, you know me. I take care of a lot of stuff behind the scenes but never reveal what is going on. Also, I never really visit the website to post or view things. All that is going to change because I am getting tired of good loyal players in our guild getting screwed over simply by lackluster attendance/poor performance by other players/and bad raiding attitudes by people who have left already!

We have lost a couple people and will continue to do so until we set a higher standard for people. This means in both attitude as well as numbers. Everyone has to step it up in all facets. I know of several people who spend a long time scrutinizing over their gear/spec to increase their numbers even the slightest. They look over all the possible upgrades and try to figure out the best way to attain the stats necessary to help out everyone as a whole in both the raids and other leadership areas. There are many of these people who cannot even come to some of our core raids because of schedules but still try to help out their gear/spec and others in the guild by keeping up with the latest info and pugging raids to make sure their gear stays up to par with the rest of us. Other people however, are not limited by their schedule and are in our core spots but just seem to coast along in our raids, they are just there to get whatever seems like an upgrade. I am not saying make wow into a job, but a little more effort towards understanding your class/spec/rotation/upgrade/comp. Etc. would help everyone progress. I play on my alts and stuff, but their sole purpose is to gear my main first and to understand other classes to help understand raid buffs/talents/etc. or our raid members. A good example of this is Geedub has 4 tanks and it is because of this he fully understands how they all work. Again, I am not saying everyone should get super crazy or anything, but again, a little more effort would help. This is for everyone even the officers, everyone has to step up their game.

Current state of people we have lost and might lose:

DK and Sammee left ou guild because apparently I have a gigantic ego and giving them everything they wanted was too much for them. They had asked to play with their freinds Beubonik and Bagbalm but when I tried hard to move people around so that it was possible, they couldn't do rotface cause their DPS wasn't enough. They couldn't blame Beubonik and Bagbalm for the lack of DPS, so they blamed everyone else. They also never listened to any advice from anyone who were trying to help em with their class cause they were you know, better than everyone. DK never flasked and when he wasn't in vent screaming some joke or somoething, he was in his own vent accidentally pulling when he wasn't supposed to. True, they made every raid, but that doesn't really make up for things. Beubonik and Bagbalm, we basically carried through our raids simply because they were freinds with DK and Sammee. They were online all the time and made all raids, but again, that only counts for so much. Boredman apparently thought that the way we dealt with raids wasn't the best and he went to aphotic. He thought we were immature, interesting coming from a 16 year old. The last two people I will mention here are NYC and NYCbeast. NYC's RL freinds came back to the game and he will switch servers on his warrior and play over their as his main. His hunter will still be here but he will mostly be playing over there, NYCbeast will probably follow him. I cannot hate on NYC, he has been loyal for a long time to us and much like when Mygrain decided to stop playing, I cannot really be angry at him for deciding to play with his freinds.

    Roster Moving forward:

The legend has come back to the guild, that is right, Finallegend is back and ready to kick some ass. He never left us on a bad note, we were simply full on plate melee at the time. Loggs/Barsofgold (Clidefrog) has also come back to the guild to mainly play on his Lock for us. However, he is gearing out his Druid/DK/Enhance shaman depending on what we need. He is a good DPS and defnately will work hard for us. Honey's other guild (Kong Fu Pandas) has in it their GM Lastcow(warrior tank) and his wife Joycow(Resto shaman) who both want to come help us out in our 25M and 10M. They don't want to leave their guild on their mains due to nostalgia, but they will definately be good assets for us. An old guild freind Virage has come back to the game after a small hiadus and after a little bit of gearing will be a big asset in the dsc/holy preist area. I am in the process of talking with both Kateness and Starke who are also looking to add their preist/ret pally services. At this point, what we really need in the guild is a consistent enhance shaman, we are in dire need of one, we basically have everything else. Another rogue/DK/fury warrior would be nice but not a huge deal. I am also talking with this one resto shaman who has a 5800+ GS who is thinking about joining, I am sure he will be better than Boredman, lol. If you guys come accross any good players even if they are not among the classes I mentioned we need, talk to them and feel them out, they could be an asset to us.

    Guild Heirarchy moving Forward:

We need another person as an officer to keep people in line and help out with day to day guild issues such as g-bank mats, roster, scheduling, spec/stats of people, etc. The person who I would nominate for that category is Prydain. He is goofy at times but he exudes all the attributes of someone who given the opportunity to be an officer would excel at it.

    Scheduling:

We are sticking with the current raid schedule for now, ICC25M on Tuesday/Wednesday and 10M on Thursday/Sunday. Friday will be for VOA 25M and other random raids we feel like doing. Yacoub will still host some old raids during the week to allow people to earn some extra DKP for people. If you find people who you think are good raiders, feel free to take em to a 10M TOC and see what they are made of.

    Community:

We as a guild are a bunch of fun loving guys who all want to progress. To do so, we have to be honest with each other and willing to not only accept input from other, but be brave enough to give it as well. Ego's should be put aside, no one is perfect. Help everyone you can and we will go far. Everyone has an opportunity to step up their game and take the initiative necessary to take our guild to the next level. All healers, talk to each other, DPS and tanks do the same. Lastly, and I am a worst offender of this, WE HAVE AN AWESOME WEBSITE THANKS TO MASTRIC AND UNHOLY, LET'S ALL USE IT! I DEMAND NAKED PICTURES! I will be on here a lot more often and I hope everyone else is also.
