Are you ready for BlizzCon 2010? Blizzard Entertainment's two-day gaming festival begins this Friday, October 22, at the Anaheim Convention Center. The sold-out show features developer discussion panels, top-tier tournament competition, the popular costume and dance contests hosted by Jay Mohr, an epic closing concert starring Tenacious D, and much more.

While we appreciate those that are trying to be supportive of the changes and like them or at the very least are being patient to see how everything plays out, these threads are not any more productive than those that are considered "whine" threads. I'd like to ask very kindly for everyone to please stop making threads of either nature so that we can focus less on moderating and more on answering questions or at the very least reading threads and finding answers where we can. Q u o t e: Sense the new patch, and as I figured out the new changes and such, I noticed that every few minutes, the screen shakes and I hear a rumble. At first I thought it was the new graphics kicking in or something, but it was more like a game animation (with the sound FXs and all). I asked a friend and he said he didn't experience the effect. Everywhere i go, either be Stormwind or Moonglade, my screen shakes. I was suggested it was Deathwing. Makes sense, the worlds about to be "destroyed" in a month and a half. Anyone else get this effect? Or is my game damaged? If so, give me the info on these "earthquakes", thank you. Your game is not damaged. Things are beginning to rattle and hum in the world of Azeroth. What it could be ... no one knows yet. (At least from the lore/current story perspective.) Q u o t e: Headed over to Thrall's throne room the other day to see if anything was up. The first thing I noticed was a large brown orc with giant tusks as shoulder guards standing near Thrall. It took me a minute to realize it was Garrosh. Have you seen the new model? I'm still getting used to it but I think I like it Those who haven't seen it yet, go check it out! Keep in mind, let's keep this about Garrosh's MODEL, and not about his capabilities as a the leader of the Horde. Or not about LOL GARROSH OWNZ VARIAN. So, Horde, what do you think? Can you accept this new model as your leader? Garrosh's appearance has changed by his own choice. I'd tell you more, but I can't. It would be a spoiler for the new novel coming out: The Shattering by Christie Golden. I've always sort of liked Garrosh's brusque and direct nature. Sure, he was a little on the whiny end in Nagrand, but I think understanding that his father did have a redemptive moment sure helped. View the full article
